She's adorable, huggable, and oh-so-loveable -she's Full House's little Michelle Tanner. Actually, she's Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, the darling twins who portray Michelle on the hilarious Friday night sitcom. In case you didn't know, child actor labor laws restrict young children to acting a limited number of hours a week, so twins are often cast to portray one character. Mary Kate and Ashley have been playing the role of Michelle since they were nine months old. If you watch the show, you've probarbly been amazed by the Olsen girls and have wondered who is resposible for guiding them on the set. Adria Later is the twins' teacher and she directs them on the set and determines which twin will preform which scene. So, what's Adria's secret when it comes to getting the twins to preform? "The secret is," answers Adria, "when the Olsen twins come to work, this is a place where they're surrounded by people who love them and care about them. You see the results on TV. They're funny and happy and smiling and they look like they're having a good time -and that's 'cause they really are!" Adria also says that Mary Kate and Ashley are "incredible with respect to listening and following directions," and they love being in front of the camera. "They're well behaved and well mannered and they know that Full House is a place where they come to work." Now that Ashley and Mary Kate are four years old, their role on the show has becomer bigger. "Ashley and Mary Kate are doing some really funny scenes this year," adds Adria. "They've got some real good lines and real good things that they get to do."
